Introducing... handsome Loki!
Loki's Story:
Are you looking for a new best friend? Then look no further than Loki!
Loki is currently our newest boy on the block. He is just a baby at only 1 year old.
We were called with a last minute, desperately plea to save his life. He's been handed in to a stray dog pound. We were called on the Thursday morning and they only had until the Thursday afternoon to find him a safe space. We are so thankful that they contacted us.
Loki is super human friendly and wants nothing more than to be with his people which is when he feels the most safe. He really does worry when he is left alone which is understandable. Who knows how many owners this poor boy has already had before the latest one didn't want him any more neither and he was dropped off at the dog pound.
Loki has lots of energy and is very strong on the lead. He will need an owner that can keep up with his physical needs as well as lots of mental stimulation so he doesn't get bored. This boy loves his snuggle mats and enrichment feeders.
With other dogs:
We've not been able to mix Loki off lead with any dogs just yet as he hasn't been neutered [he has been booked in], however he has shown lots of positive interest in the female dogs. We have kept him away from the male dogs as they haven't been the most welcoming towards him but Loki has shown no reactions to them, even when they've been barking at him. He has been such a good boy.
As we can't assess him with dogs off lead, he will need to be the only dog in the home however, we believe he could definately make lots of dogs friends outside of the home.
With cats:
Loki is untested with cats therefore, he can not be rehomed with them
Active energy
Loki is a young boy with lots of enegy. He will thrive in a home that can give him lots of walks and plenty of physical and mental stimulation.
0 -2 hrs to start
Loki is very people oriented and will require training to build up his time alone to begin with he will need to be left as little as possible. In his kennel, he cries a lot so it's possible he could develop seperation anxiety in a home
Lead trained
Loki is very strong on a lead but we believe with more walks he will calm down and pull a lot less, he is just super excited to get out of the kennels every time his lead comes out. He may need some further training if the pulling doesn't get better
Training required
Loki can do 'sit' and 'paw'. He has so far been clean in his kennel overnight.
