Introducing.. Stevie!
Stevie's Story:
Handsome Stevie is still just a baby at 1 year old.
He very sadly found himself in a kill shelter where the level of care is - at best - basic.
Dogs are thrown in with each other whether they like it or not and unfortunately, with the shelters so overcrowded and the dogs fighting for food, Stevie was badly attacked. He was covered in wounds and his right eye was so badly damaged, it couldn't be saved.
Stevie has proven to have the best temperament, he loves both people and dogs and you can tell that he's just so happy to be alive and safe.
With other dogs:
Stevie loves being around other dogs and we believe he would be happy living with or without another dog.
With cats:
Stevie has not yet been cat tested but we are hoping to get this done within the next 2 weeks.
Looking for:
Active energy
Stevie has shown moderate energy levels since being with us but this could increase as he settles in
3-4 hrs to start
Stevie has shown signs of distress when being left alone.
Any time by where he will be by himself will need to be built up over time
Lead trained
We have not yet tried Stevie on a lead
Training required
Stevie has no form of basic training
