Introducing...Mabel!

About Mabel:

Mabel has not had a happy life so far. She is just 4 years old and has spent a majority of her life living in and enduring the horrors of a public kill shelter in Romania.

Mabel is very scared of people after the mistreatment and neglect she has suffered but after watching her fellow kennel friends interacting with us, she has recently become much more intersted in what she might be missing out on and is starting to investigate us. We are unable to touch Mabel yet and it will be quite some time until she is asking for this but we really do see so much potential in her.

With other dogs:

Mabel has mixed well with many dogs at the rescue. She has recently started to show a really playful side to her when we have been mixing her with the younger dogs - Bessie and Cuba from Greece that have now both been adopted. Her eyes literally lit up when it was playime with them and she's be bouncing around all over the place.

She also has a special bond with Nero and it makes her day spending some of her day with him <3

We believe that Mabel needs to live with another dog as she seems to completely shut down when she's not around one.
