Introducing... the gentle giant Ice!
Ice's Story:
Ice is approximately 5 years old and has come from a public shelter in Romania.
We normally prioritise the more nervous dogs that are much more unlikely to be helped but we saw a picture with some of our other dogs being pulled from the shelter.
Ice's lovely face was in one of the pics and so we enquired about him and they said they didn't have any placements lined up for him and so we asked them to send him over on the earliest transport to us.
He arrived wagging his tail and enjoying lots of fusses. He has been nothing but a gentleman since he has been with us.

With other dogs:
We need to do more dog mixes with Ice to get a true reading of what he is like with dogs but so far he has been introduced to a male, a female and a puppy and he has been gentle but playful with all.
With cats:
Ice has not yet been cat tested but we will look to do this once he has settled in with us.

Ice can be quite a boisterous boy and does seem to be an active dog

Milo has never lived in a home before and so his time alone would need to be slowly built up.
We believe that once Milo is settled, he should be ok to be left alone for 4-5 hours
Lead trained
Under assessment. We are giving Ice a few days to settle in and then will try him outside on a lead
Training required
Ice has no form of basic training. This will all come in time once he has settled and learnt to fully trust her adopters
