Introducing our very own tripod dog, Freya!

Freya's Story:

Freya recently came to stay with us at Oakwood for a little holiday because she wasn't coping well in the kennels that she'd been residing in for a long time.

She was said to be super stressed and struggling to maintain a healthy weight.

Freya took less than 24 hours to settle in with us and she has been everybody's best friend, human and dog. She is such a happy girl and her tail never stops wagging. It's amazing what a change of scenery can do for a dog <3

Freya had to have one of her back legs removed due to an injury and her other one has metal plates in it. We are waiting on more info as to what exactly happened but in the meantime, having 3 legs doesn't slow this girl down at all.

With other dogs:

Freya has made a lot of friends with our current dog residents, she does enjoy meeting new dogs and is more than happy spending her time with them however we think she'd also be absolutely fine in a home as an only dog too.

With cats:

Freya is untested with cats. We need to let her settle in before we take her for cat testing.
